A boiler service is a routine check-up carried out by one of our Gas Safe registered engineers to ensure your boiler is working safely, efficiently, and reliably—kind of like an MOT for your heating system. Your service will include:

• Visual inspection: The engineer checks for leaks, corrosion, and signs of wear.

• Component testing: They test key parts like the heat exchanger, burner, and ignition system.

• Safety checks: This includes checking for carbon monoxide leaks and ensuring the flue is clear.

• Cleaning: Filters and internal components may be cleaned to improve efficiency.

• Performance test: The boiler is fired up to make sure it’s operating correctly.

• Service record: You’ll receive a certificate or logbook entry confirming the service was completed.
